Wacken is an open-air heavy metal music festival, heaven for a rocker or metalist, who wants to see his favorite bands and learn about new bands and it takes place in Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany.
W:O:A starts at the beginning of August and lasts four days. Unfortunately, this years’ tickets are already sold out, so, you should always be on the prey for when they start distributing their tickets.
With over 150 artists performing across 8 stages within 280 hectares, there’s plenty of room for 80,000 devoted metalheads from 80 different nations to headbang till sunrise.
Despite being one of the largest metal festivals in the world, in our humble opinion, I think that they have the best merch and the best initiative around. They give each visitor a free Full Metal Bag. One more awesome thing about it, the bag is made out of recyclable materials, so it will be perfect for the environment too.
So to conclude this post, we are sorry that the ticket stock is over. They are selling extremely fast and you should buy them in the first 24 hours to be sure that the stock lasts.
We will look forward to the lineup for Wacken 2020 hoping that there will be even bigger names in the genre, like Metallica, Lamb of God, and Megadeth.
